Megan Stallworthy’s workshop: Learn bookbinding skills and take home two beautiful handmade books, using handmade and patterned papers and traditional sewing, folding and glueing techniques. All the materials and equipment will be provided.
Megan Stallworthy, member of the Society of Bookbinders and the Devon Guild of Craftsmen studied Design History and Bookbinding at Brighton University, has taught bookbinding to Art and Design students at Somerset College, Petroc, Exeter College, Plymouth University and the Slade, UCL, and is an associate lecturer in Graphic Design (Bookbinding) at Falmouth University. She makes and repairs books to commission, and works with a team of book conservators for the National Trust, All Souls College, Oxford and other libraries.
