CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULT EVENTS
The award winning independent Emily’s Bookshop is putting together
a programme of School Events for the month of May as part of the
Chipping Campden Literature Festival. Emily says, “All schools in
Campden and hopefully the surrounding areas will be able to benefit
from a wealth of literary talent for children.”

Mill House Care Home For residents and by invitation
Pupils from St Catharine’s Primary School, coached by Rosemary Voaden, read the favourite poems plus some of the children’s choosing.
Rosemary Voaden trained at the Birmingham School of Speech Training and Dramatic and is a Licentiate of the Royal Academy, and an Associate of London Academy of Dramatic Art.

Chipping Campden School
Diana Darke gives an illustrated presentation to senior students on her book My House In Damascus. After the event Diana will sign copies of her book. Emily is arranging the supply of the books and will be Festival representative at the talk.
